Bullefollows a young boy of the same name on a quest to find his missing best friend—a goldfish—and persuade the water to return to his drought-stricken city before it is too late. Along the way, he is joined by an unexpected companion: an Ichthyostega, a mysterious prehistoric creature deeply connected to the forces of nature. Together, they uncover the secrets of a fragile world and embark on a journey of hope, friendship, and courage.
